What is BAAG Originals?
BAAG Originals is built around a simple idea: Punjabi identity can be expressed through contemporary clothing without relying on novelty graphics or occasion-only dressing. The collection uses familiar modern silhouettes, then gives them a specific point of view through artwork, embroidery, texture, colour and storytelling.
The current BAAG Punjabi clothing collection includes graphic T-shirts, camp shirts, embroidered shirts and overshirts. Pieces are designed in Punjab and made in India.
How BAAG clothing uses Punjab as a design source
Rather than trying to represent Punjab as one visual idea, BAAG works from individual references. Rivers can become line work and back graphics. Village architecture can inform illustration. Agricultural landscape can shape colour and texture. Phulkari can influence geometry. Equestrian imagery can become embroidery.
This approach keeps each product focused. The Panjab Five Rivers Tee looks at geography and river identity. Pind Darwaza draws from village gateways. Phulkari Grid turns a craft reference into a more architectural graphic system.
Punjabi menswear beyond one silhouette
BAAG does not treat Punjabi menswear as a single garment type. T-shirts allow larger graphics and relaxed everyday wear. Shirts create space for embroidery and woven texture. Overshirts offer heavier layering, utility shapes and tonal surface details.
The Riyasat Camp Shirt, Haveli Ivory Shirt and Zameen Utility Overshirt show how the same broader Punjabi design identity can move across different contemporary silhouettes.
Why limited runs matter to the BAAG approach
Focused drops make it possible for a collection to share a clear visual language rather than becoming an endless catalogue. Each BAAG drop can explore a smaller group of references and give individual pieces more attention. Limited-run production also suits a brand that is still building its vocabulary product by product.
Who is BAAG Punjabi clothing for?
BAAG is designed for people who want cultural identity in their wardrobe but still want modern, wearable clothes. That can include customers in Punjab and across the wider Punjabi diaspora. The garments are intended to work with ordinary wardrobes—denim, cargos, trousers, sneakers, boots and simple layers—rather than requiring a fully themed outfit.
